Jump was my first introduction to Van Halen, and really, rock and roll. I had listened to my brother's Quiet Riot tape, but nothing hit me the way this song and video did. The pants, the hair, and of course, the guitar playing. It was larger than life.
Fast forward to the 90's, and my love of VH really peaked with For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. EVERY SINGLE SONG on this tape is gold, and it got me through some tough times. The one consistent aspect of the hundreds of awesome songs that became the soundtrack of my adolescence was Eddie Van Halen.
We collaborated with local rock station, WKLT to create this t-shirt as a tribute to him, his talent, and the legacy he has left behind. As such, we will be donating a portion of every shirt sold to the Rock Stop, a local rock music school for kids, because Eddie would have loved that.
Rock In Peace Eddie!
